BREATHE, the women's ministry at Vanguard Church, exists to love women into a real relationship with Christ, to lead them into a deeper knowledge of God through relationships with other women, and to hold each other accountable as we create a caring community.

Welcome to Breathe - Vanguard’s Women’s Ministry!
In September, the women of Vanguard began our New Year with the theme, Inspired Community. As Pastor Kelly introduced the 2010 theme, Raw to Real the first Sunday in January, the thing that caught my attention was that; Jesus is the grace giver in my life. He went on to say that we are Jesus to those around us, which makes each of us a giver of grace. It is a perfect compliment to the theme Inspired Community.
As we learn to live out Real relationships and explore what it means to build Inspired Community, let us work to bring peace into the chaos of each others’ lives; let us be the one that introduces grace into each situation.

Looking for ways to connect with other women through casual and fun gatherings this summer? If so, here are some activities to make note of:
Third Thursdays at the Thirsty Cafe
June 17, August 19, October 21
Beginning June 17 and continuing every other month on the third Thursday, join the women's leadership team for coffee/tea, dessert and fun conversation. We'll meet from 7pm - 8pm at Cindy Klopfenstein's home: 5212 Cracker Barrel Circle, 80917; tel: 719-591-1714.
Sack Lunch Sundays
July 11, September 12, November 14
Beginning July 11 and continuing every other month on the second Sunday, bring your lunch and join other women for fun and fellowship after second service. We'll get started at 1:00 pm in the East Lobby.
