Mothers of Preschoolers

As a mom it is important to take some time for yourself. Hectic schedules and taking care of the kids can be overwhelming, and this year’s MOPS theme of  “The Home Factor:  Dwell Well” encourages moms to take time to recharge! Whether it’s by taking a walk, taking a bath, reading a book, praying, spending time with a friend—moms need to breathe deeply and live fully.

What better way to take time for yourself than to join Vanguard’s MOPS group on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month! With teaching, discussion, creative activities, food and fun, MOPS helps moms build friendships while learning more about Christ and His promises to us. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom—moms from every lifestyle who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!  MOPS recognizes that the years from birth to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. MOPS helps moms through relationships and resources, and also encourages and supports moms during this phase in their lives. MOPS moms also receive the support of mentor moms, who are mature women who listen, encourage, and offer godly perspectives.

The cost is $8 for Mom, $2 for the first child, and $1 for each additional child in childcare. The children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting. Please join us!
