Project 4:12

Project 4:12 is Vanguard’s Ministry to the 4th and 5th graders. We meet on Sunday mornings during the 9:00am & 11:00am service and on Wednesday nights. We have fun laughing together, playing together, eating together and most importantly, learning about Christ’s love together. 

Currently we are using the Grapple Curriculum which is specifically created for 4th & 5th graders.  It has an online component that allows students to interact during the week. Curriculum topics include:

• What would Jesus play on his iPod?
• Why do my parent’s always say no?
• Why can’t I go to PG-13 Movies?
• Is God a party pooper?
• Why can’t Christians ever have fun?

Our hope is that the kids in Project4:12 will develop a real relationship with God and that when they leave on Sunday they will be energized, encouraged and have an idea of how to make a difference in the world around them.
