Where were they born?
Kelly Williams was born on May 25, 1971 in Glasgow, Kentucky. Tosha Lamdin Williams was born on December 6, 1970 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Where were they raised?
Kelly spent his entire childhood in Glasgow, Kentucky. Tosha grew up in a Navy family, who lived in Florida, Oklahoma, California, North Carolina, and Virginia Beach.

When did they become believers in Christ?
Both Kelly and Tosha gave their lives to Jesus Christ at an early age.

Where did they attend college?
Kelly and Tosha both graduated from high school in 1989 and started college at Liberty University that fall. They met during their freshman year.

When did they get married?
Kelly and Tosha dated for over three years and were married on April 24, 1993, after completing college. Kelly earned his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry, and Tosha earned hers in Telecommunications.

Where did they get their theological education?
After the wedding, Kelly and Tosha moved to Dallas to begin studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. Kelly studied for a Masters of Theology and Tosha a Master of Biblical Studies. They completed their studies in May of 1996.

What was the process that led them to Colorado Springs?
Kelly and Tosha surveyed seven cities before deciding on Colorado Springs. They came to visit the city for the first time in April of 1994. They returned for a second visit in July of 1996. They decided on Colorado Springs in July after much research and prayer, and they started the first official X-group on October 1, 1996. They along with about a dozen people out of that X-group helped start Vanguard March 2, 1997.
