What Is A Team Player?
Team Players are the "backbone" of our leadership here at Vanguard Church.
Every ministry is compiled of Team Players leading with each staff member and leadership team to "love others into a REAL relationship with Jesus Christ," and to live out the heartbeat of our ministries. Every person who attends Vanguard is not a Team Player, but every person who leads in a leadership position is a Team Player.
We invite you to investigate Vanguard Church and see if this is the place for you to invest into the lives of people. If Vanguard Church lives out the type of ministry that resonates in your heart, then we invite you to become a Team Player. If you are looking for an opportunity to serve in leadership then the Team Player Connection Group is the next step for you to be involved. For more information about becoming a Team Player, contact our Associate Pastor of Small Groups, Scott Cline.
Vanguard offers 2-3 Team Player Connection groups a year. They last 11 weeks in nature and cover Vanguard's 4 Core Value, Leadership Philosophy, and Overview of the church. The Team Player Connection Group is experienced in an informal environment inviting questions about the church and future direction. The Team Player is designed for individuals to get their questions answered about the church and for Vanguard to educate perspective leaders on why we do what we do. You will also have an opportunity to meet ALL our staff members and elders.
Team Player Overview
Team Players are critical to Vanguard Church. Team Players are those who have covenanted with Vanguard Church to live out the mission, "to love others into a REAL relationship with Jesus Christ." Our leaders do this through leadership teams, being point leaders over particular ministries, and partnering with Vanguard by rolling up their sleeves and investing in the lives of people.
We would love for you to join us and become a Team Player. Below describes our Team Player Connection Group and what we will cover in it together.
