FAMILY NIGHT



Family Night for Listening to God will take place on Wednesday, May 29th from 6:00-8:00pm.  Vanguard Team Players are urged to fast for 24 hours beginning Tuesday evening (May 28th) until Wednesday evening (May 29th). Spend the time you would typically be eating or partaking of your usual activities, and devote that time to prayer, reading God's Word, and asking this question: "God, what is your word for me and for Vanguard during this time of fasting and spiritual focus?  Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening." If the Lord speaks something to you and you are willing to share it, please email it to ray_woolridge@vanguardchurch.org by 3:00pm on Wednesday, May 29th. These words from God will be shared during our time together as we break the fast, worship & pray. 

  

Vanguard's Student Ministries is hosting two different fundraisers to send students to Mission Camp!

If you're looking for a night off, drop off your kids at Vanguard for babysitting on the following Fridays: May 10th, 24th, & 31st! Students will provide babysitting for $25 (for one child) or $35 (for two or more); several adults, with background checks and certifications, will be overseeing Friday Night Babysitting. 

Looking for a little intrique and suspense in life, as well as a delicious spaghetti dinner? We invite you to join us on Friday, May 17th from 6:00-8:00pm to figure out who the "killer" is at our Mystery Dinner. Tickets cost $10 each and include a spaghetti dinner; be sure to bring some extra cash with you, too, because our servers can be bribed for information! Sign up here.
